I'm guessing that if you have to ask this question, then you don't feel 100% comfortable with it. You have a conscience/moral compass within you that lets you know when something doesn't feel right. Listen to it. Or try placing yourself in the other person's shoes (the one on the receiving end of your actions) and think about how they would feel. That can help you figure things out. Problems arise when people are misled by our actions or misinterpret them. There's a potential for people getting hurt and for your actions coming back to bite/haunt you.
