Flight advice - pls help

My parents are trying to come to Chicago from Isb/Lahore. PIA/British airways dont fly direct to Chicago anymore.

Do you guys know of any other routes? We’d prefer not to fly into NY and then catch a connecting flight. Is there is any option to Chicago, that’ll be the best.

Thank you.

Re: Flight advice - pls help

why don't you speak to a travel agent, they will have all the routes and information...

but just thinking off the top of my head you can fly to london and then from londo to chicago...

Road Trip!!!

Rent a minivan, drive to NYC, drive back with your parents.

The best way is to get from ISB/LHE to LONDON (LHR) then to Chicago via any carrier. I guess BA, AA,UA all will be flying to Chicago

Etihad will start flying to Chicago from 3rd September this year enabling a Lahore/Islamabad-Abu Dhabi-Chicago flight. But that will probably be too late for your parents.

Another option would be Islamabad-Istanbul on PIA and then Istanbul-Chicago on Turkish Airlines. PIA and Turkish have a code-sharing agreement with each other so you can combine these flights in one ticket.

And then there's of course the option of flying via London Heathrow. British Airways doesn't fly to Pakistan anymore, but PIA has a direct flight to Heathrow and from there your parents could choose between United, American, British Airways and Virgin. However this is probably the most expensive option because I don't think PIA has code-share agreements with any of these airlines.
