It is better to eat ground flax which you can grind yourself than to take aalsika tail. The oil misses out an important part of flax viz. flax husk. The husk is very good for you. For getting omega-3, you are better off taking fish oil which contains a higher quality of omega-3 than flax.

Flax seeds are called aalsi in desi stores. They are real cheap. I do exactly what you ask. I grind them for a week's supply, keep them in the fridge and sprinkle two tablespoons on my oatmeal cerreal (porridge). If you want to make it tastier, then add sum jeera and/or dhania before you grind. In fact jeera and dhaniya are good for you too.
