The bobbi brown foundation stick is medium coverage right? I brought it, and it works preety well, I also brought there new one "skin foundation" with spf 15 which is very similar to the mac skin finish....
i would recommend Diors Airflash. Its a spray foundation and works wonders!...well atleast it did for me. If you break out im sure its going to do a great job on covering up all ur flaws.
It varies from face to face; for me nothing works better than Chanel foundations. They match my complexion so well and the coverage is satiny (glowy without looking oily). But they discontinued my fav one:(:(:(

I used Airflash and went through a whole can of it but didnt like it. It covers well but it gets oily very easily.
A good foundation can help.....but prevention is better than the cure. I understand that weddings are stressful, but try to take the necessary steps to prevent break outs. For example, try to get 8 hours of sleep, take a multivitamin, drink lots of water, and exercise.
Just like you, I struggle with acne. And I especially break out close to my period or when I'm under stress. But I've read and heard from several people that eating y*ogurt* daily will help prevent breakouts and flatten out the pimples that do erupt. Yogurt contains cultures that eat up the pimple causing bacteria in your body. Ever since I've been eating yogurt, my skin Alhumdolillah has been calm.....even during my period. So try eating yogurt daily during the days leading to your wedding, Reha.
This is what I do. In a glass, I put about 3-4 big tablespoons of yogurt. And i stir it with a spoon to make it smooth. I slowly add water and keep stirring. I fill the whole glass with water.....so it becomes like lassi. I add a pinch of salt to this and I drink it...every day.....sometimes twice a day. And AH, it's made quite the difference. Even applying yogurt to your face will calm the pimples, soften and exfoliate your skin, and make it more glowing.
For foundations......I like Mac Studio Fix Fluid, but I know it doesn't suit you.
Stila is really nice. I have a friend who I think got a foundation from prescriptive. And it blends so smoothly and flawlessly on her skin. I've heard that Prescriptives will custom make your foundation.
Bobbi Brown has colors that suit most "desi" skin-tones..Prescriptives, if u get the exact color is fantastic as well! Foundations I didn't really like were MAC, Clinique, Chanel.. Lancome has really nice light-reflecting foundations that are ideal for people that have blemishes :)
A fluid foundation is great for sheer/medium coverage.. if u combine it with a concealer u can achieve more heavier coverage.
A foundation stick/pan stick delivers more heavier coverage..just be sure and blend it really well with either a damp sponge or u're fingers (upwards and outwards always)

Just get a container of yogurt from the grocery store. About 1 cup of yogurt is good. Or just put 3-4 big tablespoons of yogurt in a glass/mug. Mix it and make it smooth. Fill glass with water to the top, keep stirring. Add a pinch of salt. It turns out like lassi...and drink this 1-2 times a day.
