The State shall:
(h) prevent the consumption of alcoholic liquor otherwise than for medicinal and, in the case of non-Muslims, religious purposes; *

As far as I’m aware, the only religion in Pakistan which requires the consumption of alcoholic liquor as part of a religious rite is Christianity.

Why is liquor available to all non-Muslims, and in particular why is it not limited for distribution solely to churches and cathedrals?

I don’t think that Christianity “requires” consumption of alcohol at any stage, some sects “allow” consumption but not require, am I wrong?
