Need a commercial or freeware flash mp3 player applet that can accept the mp3 as a URL parameter (content on external server).
Any ideas?

Not exactly what you are looking for but I have been trying to make this thing work with phpBB and PHP-Nuke just like GS’ audio gallery. You might be able to do that a little faster than me.

you can easily configure the code from streaming to progressive downloads..not sure what’s the mode of your server..

One more:
MP3 Preloader Player , is a sound tool that allows you to have external MP3 tracks -as many as you like - looped by default- , preload each one individual with its own animation and at the same time when the track is fully loaded , the animation MC turns in to a player selection button. Is a script written in flash MX . Very easy to use and edit with “medium” skills. Functional with flash player plugin 5.0+ .
