I lost my old flash drive and I need to get a new one. I’m gonna buy one off the internet because they’re usually cheaper online and it’s easier to browse. I need a 2GB one but if I can get more space for the same price then I’ll go with it. My budget is like around $15.
I was just wondering if the brand really matters when it comes to flash drives. Like is it possible for a company to actually screw up something so simple as a flash drive? Are there any brands in particular that I should stay away from?
I used to have a Sandisk cruzer micro (it had a cap, not like the new one that has the slide thingy on it). It was perfect. I really don’t want one with the slide thingy on it because I know several people that have complained that it gets stuck or bent.
Kingston is usually good, it makes SIMMs DIMMs too .. but again why bother much about brand its only 15 or 20 dollars anyway, so if goes off a new one can be bought anytime.
I was surprised to see thread title. I came to comment "that must most complicated topic phatima ever started"
But then I saw she lost her flash drive lol
I would go with SanDisk.
I got a SanDisk 4gb version "titanium" for $50 (was half price) just before december 07. Has not failed on me yet......... even took it to Pakistan lol
