I think what’s happened is that we have stopped making the distinction between soaps and series/serials. Our dramas got so soapy, that we expect an actual soap to end.

I think it’ll be good if we can start doing the daytime vs. primetime television thing. Soaps have given many a stars a chance in hollywood. Soaps could be a way to introduce new actors for us as well.

that’s actually a good idea. That way people like us can watch our primetime dramas for the 40 minutes that they come on minus ads and be done with it.

I haven’t watched TPM in a long time to notice any good talent on it. LOL
