I agree. The drama is the worst thing that happened to Geo Tv....let alone them, to TELEVISION!

Jamal Shah's character died the last time I saw the drama. Then the whole hospital scene started and it turned to TPM....

Yaar sachi baat to ye hai k drama chahay jitna acha ho.... Jab Maheenon say saalon pe jata hai to bore ho jata hai.....
Story ko itna b nhi khenchna chahiay......

hmmm koi haal nahi hai is dramay ka....saare actors thoons diye hain is dramay main. i am very very very very upset with usman and zulfikar...i hope in dono ko aqal ajaye.

It's a soap opera and it is going to go on forever. I mean if ya'll can watch Noor Bano, then let Tere Pehloo Mein, be as well.

Just look at american daytime television. The soaps on there have been going on for over 30 or 40 years. The storylines have changed and changed and changed and people have come and gone. Just recently James Franco did an appearance on one of the soaps. And he's a well to do movie star. So its not a huge deal if Faisal Rehman was on the show. And as far as I know, Jamal Shah was on the show for a very long time.

I think what's happened is that we have stopped making the distinction between soaps and series/serials. Our dramas got so soapy, that we expect an actual soap to end.

I think it'll be good if we can start doing the daytime vs. primetime television thing. Soaps have given many a stars a chance in hollywood. Soaps could be a way to introduce new actors for us as well.

that's actually a good idea. That way people like us can watch our primetime dramas for the 40 minutes that they come on minus ads and be done with it.

I haven't watched TPM in a long time to notice any good talent on it. LOL

^ I have only watched 3 episodes of TPM. So its not like I love it and I am defending its quality. But I think that it's important to make a distinction between soaps and regular programming and criticise accordingly.

Also, soaps are known for bad acting and ridiculous storylines. That is why most newcomers get chances in soaps because they don't need to know much about acting. As long as they look hot enough, they are in.
