Five soldiers die in Afghanistan

**Five British soldiers have been killed in a single incident in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, the Ministry of Defence has said.**Three of the soldiers were from the Grenadier Guards and two were from the Royal Military Police.

They were all killed as a result of gunshot wounds sustained in an attack in the Nad-e’Ali district on Tuesday afternoon, the MoD said.

The soldiers’ next of kin have been informed of the deaths.
