The murder of unarmed Sindhis by a vicious police force is nothing new for the Sindhis struggling for their rights. This autocratic move to separate the districts for political means against the wishes of all local leaders, just shows with how much disdain the Pakistani government holds Sindh in. The sacrifice of these brave Sindhis fighting against dictatorship and tyranny will never be forgotten as along as a Sindhi is alive.

Merger of Kambar into Shahdadkot district:
Five killed in clash with police
KARACHI: Five people were killed and 12 were injured on Friday when demonstrators clashed with police in Shahdadkot district, police and doctors said.
Police opened fire after failing to quell hundreds of people trying to storm a police station in the town of Kambar, they said. The rally was staged after the Sindh government decided to merge Kambar into the newly created district of Shahdadkot after splitting former premier Benazir Bhutto’s home district of Larkana.
The protesters burnt tyres to block the main national highway and attacked several police and private vehicles. Police said three people were killed and several injured in firing when they tried to attack the police station. Hospital officials said they received 13 people, mostly with bullet wounds, and one of them died of his injuries. “We are trying to control the situation,” said police official Ramzan Channa. The administration clamped down curfew in the area to control law and order.
The decision to create four more district was taken despite objections by the opposition and nazims of 16 Sindh districts by the provincial government on Dec 13. On Wednesday, the Sindh government also dismissed four district nazims, saying they had lost legal mandate after the bifurcation of four districts. agencies
