Re: Fitness USA Issue

sara..i know  i was just hhmm.tellin’ the other guppies that have memberships

what do you mean by “4000 for a lifetime membership and after that its 2500 per month for whichever month you want to work out”

..so like you still pay after you’ve died? :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: Fitness USA Issue

lol you pay that 4000 rupees once, you officially become a member at shapes.. like you can pay it today and not decide to work out until nxt month, then u can pay the 2500 for that month.. :)

Re: Fitness USA Issue

to phir faiyda 4000 pay karna ka..?
if you gotta pay in the month that you decide to work out in...what's the 4000 for?
that seems like a rip off, no?

Re: Fitness USA Issue

Male trainers are not so bad. ;)

Re: Fitness USA Issue

Erm, its a one-time fee..
Most gyms here have that too I think, like $50 down and $50 per month or something..
Anyway, its not like there was much option there tht u cud shop around for gyms :halo:

Re: Fitness USA Issue

^ i'm not trying to make you feel bad for spending that money..
but i'm just curious as to why they charge you so much up front..but then charge you again on a monthly basis..
btw, 4000 rupees would be how much $$?

Re: Fitness USA Issue

$66 USD

I dont feel bad for spending that money, the way I see it i spent it on something useful, like going to the gym (which I DID go to btw) rather than i dunno clothes or jewelery or chocolate that I dint need

Re: Fitness USA Issue

hmmm..interesting.
soo..how was the gym there? compared to the gym's you've been to in NY..are they similar? equipment wise, do they have trainers, etc?

Re: Fitness USA Issue

I actually snorted in my laughter when reading that :phati:

Re: Fitness USA Issue

Well, it was very segregated, trainers/instructors were female.. the branch i went to (in Y-block defense) aws very simple, just 1 air conditioned room with elliptical, bikes treadmills as well as those strength xercise machines n weights n stuff.. the Shapes in Gulberg had a swimming pool and buncha classes like yoga and aerobics n stuff, but gulberg was too far away so i went to the one in defense.. also, the guy at the counter was really cute n nice

Only gym here I been to is the one in myc ollege which is pretty crappy, just a small room, not to mention its schedule is very inconvenient, its not open during the weekend or vacation, in the summer it closes down in mid-july..

Re: Fitness USA Issue

Dont feel bad hun! For us its like $1000 down and then some monthly fee!

Re: Fitness USA Issue

 1000 down ??? WHere !!!

Re: Fitness USA Issue

Re: Fitness USA Issue

I go to a women's only gym so I don't have to worry about men watching my curves while they move.

Re: Fitness USA Issue

what one?

We have Curves here but it seems to close down every now and then...

Re: Fitness USA Issue

I think ours is a locally run place - AC Fitness for Women. It was bought out by Gold's Gym but thankfully they did not change their policies.
