fish smell @ home

Mum cooked fish yesterday and even now the whole house stinks of fish!! Any suggestions on how to get rid of this smell. i have fabreezed the place but still stinks :frowning:

open doors and windows…cross-ventilate.
if febreze doesn’t fix it …I don’t know what will!!

I have gotten into the habit of making sure that there is a lit candle at the stove when I’m cooking. It doesn’t even have to be a scented candle…just any old flame works to prevent such odours.

I also have incense/agar batti in the house for the stubborn smells. Fortunately we have found some really nice sticks that are infused with popular cologne fragrances. I love some of them!!!

aji simply Open all the doors and windows and turn on exhaust fans and ceiling fans both…

then use air freshners :stuck_out_tongue:

if still stinks then use charcoal sprays with lemon :biggthumb:

Ive had the front door open and all windows for the last hour phir bhi I can smell it :frowning: it just wont go away plenty of air freshener to but no luck :frowning:

I have to air out my home for several hours and spray the air several times. Try to find an air neutralizing freshener. Also I find that those scented powders for the carpet really take away the smell when I vacuum with them.

bake some cookies, bread, or cake.

^ I agree. Aside from leaving doors & windows open, baking something would definitely help with the smell.

Febreze has a lot of unhealthy chemicals, I wouldn’t use it as much or as often if I were you.
