Thanks.
Edit: please post something that you’ve made before, and is a tried recipe.

Re: Fish Salan
I have made couple time. I have made a regular masla with onions, tomatoes, ginger/glarlic, salt, red pepper, haldi, and coriander powder. How about add some hari mirchain to make it spicy or add shan fish masala. I love tilapia too but for tilapia you have to make sure your masala or curry is ready and then you add the fish and simmer in the curry for like 10-15 mins...
Re: Fish Salan
I made this a few months ago.
Coat fish pieces with haldi, whole zeera [a tsp] and set aside for an hour.
Meanwhile, fry 1/2 a large onion or a small-med size onion until golden brown. Remove the onions with a slotted spoon and put into a blender. To this, add 2-3 cloves of garlic, a small piece of ginger, salt, haldi, red chilli powder and dhania powder, 1/4 cup of dahi. Blend until smooth. Pour all of this back into the same oil you fried the onions in. Add the fish pieces. Blend 2-3 medium roma tomatoes in the same blender [don’t clean from previous masala], then por this puree into the fish. Add a tbs of kaoori methi, gently stir, cover and cook on med-low until done. Garnish with green chillies and hara dhaniya.
