Fish: Cod recipes

Hi Guys

Im planning to make cod tonight with stir fry and I would like to grill the fish…has anyone got any recipes they would like to share?

I know the normal recipe of adding garam masala, lal mirch, salt, ginger and garlic paste and lemon juice…

i would like to try something different (if thats even possible!)

Thanks

Re: Fish: Cod recipes

Marinate in lemon juice, garlic, green chilli, black pepper, then grill drizzled with olive oil. If you add red chilli flakes to it. looks nice.

You can top with sliced onion if u want.

mmmmmmm sounds tasty...shall definitely try that...Thanks

Re: Fish: Cod recipes

I found this one online & seems nice & simple:

1 lb. cod fillets (or other light, white fish)
2 Tbls. butter
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 Tbls. chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. paprika OR cayenne pepper
1 med. onion - thinly sliced

Cut heavy aluminum foil into 4 large squares. **Place equal portions of fish fillets on each piece of foil. ***Melt butter, then stir in lemon juice, parsley, salt, and pepper.*

Pour butter mixture over fish, sprinkle with paprika, top with onion slices. **Fold the foil around the fish and seal. ***Grill for 5-7 minutes per side. Fish should flake easily when done.*

Thanks, I like the idea of fish being cooked in foil parcels..someone at work mentioned that to me too...may just have to try it in foil and see how it goes
