Thankyou your too kind :aliyish:

Re: Fish and milk..myth?

yeh except that it is nonsense. there is no one fish called "catfish". there are a zillion species of them, ranging from quarter of an inch to over five feet in length. from herbivores to carnivores. as for eating dead matter, every single fish will eat dead animals/fishes if it can find one to peck on.

and you cant contract any viral infections from eating raw fish. parasites yes. virus no.

.

Those bits both of us know are wrong...

You'll aknowledge that parasites found on fish and consumed raw will be spread to whatever eats them?

As for all fish feeding on dead matter thats not always the case... inderectly yes sea fish almost all of them eat dead matter but freshwater fish have exceptions... particularly in fast flowing rivers.

The rest your correct to point out.

Re: Fish and milk..myth?

parasite vs. virus. look up the difference pal.

and no, every single fish, including specialized algaeeaters will preferentially eat other fish/animals if they can locate them.

Re: Fish and milk..myth?

:smack:

Parasites carry viruses.

Re: Fish and milk..myth?

but so much of the fish available is farmed...does that make a difference?

Re: Fish and milk..myth?

I guess it would?
