hehe ..theres more involved. i just found out that a very close friend who was in a bad situation, i helped her and her birthmum reunite. her dad was angry as all hell but my involvement was anonymous..or has been so far. shes settled and happy. her DAD however i just found out is the guy responsible for giving out the MBBS degree to everyone in pakistan!..if he finds out hell kill me

Enjoy the first year... it doesn't get any easier than that. It's the rest of them you should worry about.
enjoy the first year.. second year i'd wager you'd have lots more on your hands ;-)
In MD programs we have anatomy, physiology, biochemistry and histology as the main subjects in the first year. Then there are a few small ones too. Among them i found anatomy to be the hardest one as its all memorization and looking at stinky cadavers and trying to find each muscle, nerve and identifying every groove on a bone. Physio was pretty much understanding so i had no problem in that. Biochemistry is hard for some and easy for others. I had no problem in that. Histology is not as high yield. But in my first year I spent 70% of my time studying anatomy as i am bad at memorization.
Even though the first year is an easier year compared to what you will have in the future, but even the first year is nothing compared to what you had before. SO you will not have as much time to enjoy and get used to it. But the second year has the most important subjects where you will have almost no time.
But anyways, Good luck with your studies. InshaAllah you will do great. Just be prepared to studying weeks before the exams and long long hours of reading. Even though it seems boring, but you get used to it after a little bit and start enjoying it.
