the latest shortfall is 5000 MW, with the passage of time Tarbela and Mangla dams are filling up, the generation capacity is being affected, and we dont have money to buy fuel for thermal power stations, the circular debt etc. all of these factors plus the points that you have mentioned in your post we have thes situation that we currently have in Pak

Its not 5000 MW yet, its in between 3000-4000 MW… well agree to current misery! but question what has been done to resolve it?

• Did we make dams?
• We die from water and we die for water, but do we store water ? we let all the water to go into sea… can’t we stop and store in pockets?
• If Holland can use wind mills for decades, did ever any Pakistani thought to use that free power?
• Can’t we use solar power?
• Can’t we use 15-25 watts energy saver and 2-6 watts LED bulbs instead of 200 watts Tungsten bulbs and 1000 watts mercury bulbs?
• Can’t restructure the electricity transmission system ?
• Can’t we stop electricity stealer?
• Can’t we ask electric equipment manufacturers to use 99.99% pure copper?

well Ali, there are much to say … if we can simply correct what we have then we can save $ that we are willing to invest in the same system!
