i just experianced my first holiday abroad and had never flown before. so i was very nervous first we got told our seat had been switched to row 13 as someone was feeling superstitous so we got their seats when i finally boarded the plane we were told there would be an hour delay so we are all sitting there hot as a/c isnt on then the pilot says right we are off, so we take off didnt like the ear popping, once we were in the air i was getting used to flying. just as dinner is being served we hit a lightning storm the air hostesses run to their seats ( didnt think this was too professional it made me more uneasy) so we are bumping about like a rollercoaster trying to eat our meal then finally it stops and its landing time. not good for a first flight.
luckily on the way back we had a nicer plane which provided a movie lots of information about what height we were at and if we were gonna have any turbulance and the staff were so much nicer and friendly canadian i think there were,the first flight didnt have any of this tho
had a great holiday tho
so have any of you any stories of flying not necessarily first flights maybe just crazy flights . do share

secondly I think air hostesses running to their seat when in a lightning storm is a not too unacceptable as Im sure they want to be as safe as possible....

im old...........tooo old to remember when i was born.
I was on a flight to pakistan once and there was a middleaged man sitting nearby who had some kind of mental illness and he was agitated kept shouting at the cabin crew, other passengers and his son
when he saw that some of the passengers had ordered some lunch which consisted of sausage he got up walked up and down and took their food off them...they were too shocked to stop him, and then went to the galley area and THREW it at the poor hostess who was in there.
He started to shout....he was incandescent with rage...how dare they serve haraam food on an Islamic airline!
they tried to tell him that it was hallaal...anyway he was asked to step outside for a breath of fresh air.....

I have only flown in planes capable of flying 4-6 people at the most.... any more than that and I lose it... I did fly from Chicago to Boston as a child, but as I grew up a claustrophobic sense took over and now I can't. Limits where I can go, yes, but not lookking to wander anywhere too far lately.
first flight.. when i was 3 months old, dont remember what happened. been flying almost all my life now.. now i am just sick of it. when are they going to build the technology of star treck's beaming transport system?, u can be anywhere in just seconds!
