First thing you cooked?

Re: First thing you cooked?

Thanks Newton! You jumped to the same sexist conclusion when I asked my question! Just following the trend! :P

Re: First thing you cooked?

I think I made carrot halwa :hmmm:

Re: First thing you cooked?

I made bhindi gosht with the help of my father in law who was helping us set up our place in Karachi and my husband was away at work.. .. the next morning I tried making paratha for my fil, he ate the middle part and left the sides saying it was "kachi" but appreciated my attempt(but he also went back to Punjab the same day- hint hint) so I took out my recipe book that I had made from stealing recipes on GS and made "Mahru's chicken" so that was officially my first good food on the table for my husband!

now i find recipes on GS and he cooks :D

Re: First thing you cooked?

But your post reeks of sexism , you specifically asked the question to women. Husbands cook for their wives too. :snooty: It might take them 7 years to learn to cook something worth eating. :snooty:

I am a girl (not sure if you noticed) so that is why I was asking the girls. I wanted to know from a girls perspective, because I wanted ideas from other ladies as to what they thought was best, or what they cooked. I know plenty of men who cook for their wives, my brother being one of them, and my fiance has cooked for me as well. I wasnt saying that men dont cook for their SO, I just wanted the information from a girls perspective.
