Yes Younis Khan played the worst shot possible but I think Ian chappel is right when he says that he was frustrated by inactivity from Razzaq. Anyways he was the most comfortable of the lot while he lasted.

that's no excuse though - besides it shows that the players don't have formidable test credentials.
Now we will also cause problems off the field as well. Austrailian board will have a dispute with sponsers over one day shorter than expected. We all knew that Aus-Pak matches will be four-days only. But didn’t realise the potential of our 11 best that they could wrap things up in 3 days only. Or may be the prize ceremony will be held in tomorrow’s lunch break.
And I am serious.
Looks like we gonna create and break several records in this series. Inshallah

wasnt razaq included in the team just because of his batting. and these commentators are rubbing it in.

What????? I would chose Asim Kamal instead of Razzaq any day.

Saby, if that is the case, then YK is the most stupid test player who doesn't know that it takes time for a player to settle down. Specially Razzler won't be comfortable in Warne's spell. Thye don't get the test psycology at all: Just glue urself to the wicket, regardless of score and the remaining wickets.

Umar and smooth_guy, I am not defending Younis in anyway. What I mean is that Razzaq was trying to score runs when he came early and later on razzaq was dropped twice and looked like getting out any moment and Younis committed the mistake of trying to ease a bit of pressure on him because prior to that horrible shot, younis would take single on first or second ball of the over and goes to other end and Razzaq would defend it. Once again, I dont think thats the right thing to do from Younis but Razzaq could have instilled some confidence like he did when he came to the crease first up.
Anyways what is more irritating that almost all batsmen got out with their own mistakes and australian bowlers didnt do anything out of extra ordinary.

Not really. I think one of the allroudnes was always gonna play and Razzaq was in a better form. It doesnt mean that he was playing because of his batting alone.
