wow. Four by younis. He needs to wait and he will get chance to make runs.
Whether or not Salman Butt makes a big score or not, it is evident that he is willing to play a test match inning. Ducking under the balls, leaving, blocking and gorgeous strokes in between. We shouldnt expect them to match Australian runrate becasue a) Its not our home ground b) Its perth.
^ Salman Butt gone. Nice enough try by lad.
One bad shot and payed the price... shoooot... Sulman gone
Salman is gone.

I am glad the volume was down *phew
Now watch Pakistan batting crumble like sand castle.

This is a very good batting pitch. Minimal seam movement, hardly any......true bounce the batsman can trust.
Saman Gone!
Inzi is in.
Luck wasnt with him. Lets see what Aloo does.
Salman stayed on pitch and faced 53 balls for his 17 and got out on "mistake shot", Imran Farhat scored 18 on 26 balls and got out on "mistake shot"............. Difference?

It is true that its a very good batting strip but good pitch or not, Perth pitch will always have more bounce than rest of the pitches in the world.
This is the best chance we'll get to beat the Aussies and by the looks of it we're well n our way to squandering it unless there is a big partnership now.
The bowling is quite ordinary to be honest. It's on the button, but nothing unplayable about it.

Sulman played 3 bad shots ... Imran may have played 3 good shots... Imran scored runs only on mis hits.. sulmans scored runs on genuine strokes... bright future for sulman I must say...

He was playing very well and with confidence. I think he made only one mistake and he got out on that. Well hopefully better luck in the next innnings.

Difference is that people are willing to accept Salman as an opener but not Farhat. Farhat causes his own downfall though most of the time so no wonder why!

Not really, Imran Farhat's first boundary was an edge I believe, others were drives.

Actually he played a similar shot before and was lucky that ball didn't nick the bat.

I've seen 2 fours that he has hit were edges to the slip
The difference is pure application. How many times has Farhat gotten starts and thrown them away?
