Disappointed to see faisal and malik playing. So much for aggressive captainship by Younis Khan. 
Well, Kaneria is Pakistan’s most accomplished bowler among the currently active players.
yeah … 140-5 in almost every match is an accomplishment

In India the attendance at Test Matches is coming down significantly in comparisons with ODI and the latest Boom-Boom 20-20
Would request if “Daily Attendance” Figures could be provided.
Also would appreciate “Attendance figures for the last three Sri Lanka-Pakistan ODI Matches so as to make a comparison.

Younus has shown decent captaincy skills...he's much more aggressive than Malik for sure...I think everyone who's seen the match can say that.
But...the problem is...Pakistan hasnt played a test match for 14 months and its showing...the bowling is extremely poor...nothing a captain can do about that. All bowlers just cant seem to bowl to a good line and length for more than a couple deliveries. Bowlers seem to have no control.
Sohail Khan was extremely poor but its his 1st match...so nerves play a big part. But it was good to see Younus give him a long spell inspite of him getting hammered and it did work as Mahela edged one to Misbah at slip but sadly for Khan, Misbah, after taking 3 brilliant catches...dropped a sitter.
As usuall...I'm really disappointed with Kaneria and I really feel he needs to be dropped. He's our most experienced bowler and is supposed to be a 'test' specialist. He's bowled such rubbish so far. The wicket of Sangakkara was gifted to Kaneria due Sangakkara's poor shot. I seriously think Afridi could do a lot better job than Kaneria as a specialist spinner.
Like Ehsan uncle said...Malik and Faisal's selection is really not aggressive captaincy. I think the biggest defensive move of Younus was to retain Akmal. Even though he hasnt spilled any chances yet, I believe more than Malik or Faisal...it was Akmal who should have been replaced.
I can guess why Younus might have wanted Faisal in the playing 11. Faisal is a terrific player of spin bowling...so maybe Younus thinks its a good idea to have a #6 batsman who may be able to counter Mendis and Murli. But...I would have preferred to have Fawad...who`s a really good player of both fast and spin bowling :p
But srinkies are saying,runs required .Thy are now on 296/3 
It seems Pakistan needs to learn alot from super professional teams like India and Proteas,before taling on Srinkos. :)

Maybe Asim Kamal's long beard was the cause of his International career's demise. Paki selectors have been fond of people with long beard in the team. Ex, Saeed Anwar, Yousuf.

Shoaib Malik drops a sitter in first slip off Sohail Khan.
86.1 Sohail Khan to DPMD Jayawardene, 2 runs, edged and dropped, the first wicket eludes him again, good length outside off and moving away, Mahela tried to drive that off the back foot wide of mid-off, got a thick outside edge and Shoaib Malik put down a straightforward chance at first slip. Sums up the story of the day for Pakistan

Waqar is saying more than a 100 hundred runs scored in the 3rd man region yet Younis Khan hasn't put in a fielder there. Actually, out of 406, 110 scored in the 3rd man region.
