I am sure he is English to be in English team. I don't think people connect religion to country anymore except in Islamic world upto some extent.

Just to answer you Vatican is a small closed land, its more like Mecca or Rameswaram, or Tirupati. Its actually a good way to create a small city/country aside and keep religion out of nationalism for rest of the world.
I will be interested to see any representation of Vatican as nation state in cricket or any other sport.......... :)

Yeah Basit Ali...he was a good player....one of those who always did well against India...But for some reason Pak let him go....
