Syed Pra, please explain... I dont get it who is from India and who is from Pakistan? Queer or Antiobl. I thought Antiobl was a punjabi Pakistani and Queer a south Indian- correct me if I am wrong. Its like the new Bollywood film announced recently starring Shaan and Ajay Devgan
Re: First Sikh officer in Pakistan Army
yeh its 12 o clock somewhere, wait 5 mins mulz mian.
Re: First Sikh officer in Pakistan Army
mulz saab
antiobl says that his community is urdu people(mohajir or urduspeaking) and he is from karachi.
I am not that sure about queer but he calls himself indian but some guppy i forget his name mentioned in one of his post that queer's family is from lala musa punjab
Both of them are pakistanis
P.S
I was defending urdu speaking population in one of the threads and antiobl saab made me a bihari and also took my caste(syed) away
Re: First Sikh officer in Pakistan Army
queer you are from punjab if not then clarify sir

very weird! I am not sure about queer but I am sure that antiobl has been very supportive of Pakistani Punjabis in all his postings and whether its water sharing, Punjabi vs Pathan issues or any MQM issue etc. he always has been with the Punjabis- weird if he's a urdu speaking mohajir or he's just playing or he's in love with a punjabi girl cuz back in Karachi days there was a friend of mine studying at IBA (studying management) and he would always be on our (punjabi) but was a mohajir. Later on it came out that he was madly in love with a punjabi girl hence became a fierce supporter of Punjabis. I thought Queer was an Indian cuz he's so much for bharatis.. again I might be wrong..
By the way, why did he brand you a bihari? why did he strip you of "Syed"? Any gussa or dushmani?
Re: First Sikh officer in Pakistan Army
wat does it mean? I dont get it..

I got it! queer's family migrated in 1947 to India but has its origins in Pakistan.. a wild guess?
Re: First Sikh officer in Pakistan Army
Atleast i dont have any dushmani on GS.I told you that i was defending mohajirs thats why.
Re: First Sikh officer in Pakistan Army
Maybe but as far as i remember he is of pakistani origin and his family didnot migrate to india.
Re: First Sikh officer in Pakistan Army
syed, i'm south indian. dont fret too much over losing your syedness to aunty bulbul, she's a wild one - makes me a little munshi every now and then.
Re: First Sikh officer in Pakistan Army
I think of that maybe the case with him.If someone supports a community thats fine after all punjabis are not bad.But the fact is he always criticises urdu speaking and blames them for anything thats happens in karachi.
It is simply a case of muhajir who wants to be accepted as a paka pakistani and to prove that show your love for punjab or he is ashamed of being a mohajir
Re: First Sikh officer in Pakistan Army
aray sir i am sorry but some guppy was mentioning that you are a pakistani thats why.I apologise
actually i dont believe in caste system but antiobl saab labelled me a bihari just because i supported mohajirs and he was in doubt about my caste

Antiobl always criticizes urdu-speaking mohajirs for everything bad that happens in Karachi.. maybe his name stands for Anti-Other Biharis from Layra.
Some ppl in karachi seriously adopt this tactic to get complete acceptance in the Pakistani society - they behave like a paindu and talk in Punjabi. One should not be ashamed of being a mohajir- The country's founding fathers were largely mohajirs so were many other greats like Miandad, Wahid Murad, A Q Khan and Musharraf. On side note, I feel this is what Mr. Wasim Akram is doing these days in India- he behaves as if he's an Indian- goes around with Indian stars.. speaks in Chaste Hindi and lives in India.
Re: First Sikh officer in Pakistan Army
How can I win acceptance in Pakistan?
Re: First Sikh officer in Pakistan Army
Join Army, either Pakistani or American. Either will get you the same result.
Re: First Sikh officer in Pakistan Army
Back to topic or to the lock.
Every discussion doesnt have to end up in racial discussions. It not only gets boring it gets stupid.
Re: First Sikh officer in Pakistan Army
“I am proud to be a Pakistani and of joining Pakistan Army. Being the first Sikh cadet, I wish and pray also to be the first one to be a ‘shaheed’ (martyr),” he said.
Man this is called true patriot!

I am also proud of him but imagine he comes to the helm of occupying the highest post (army chief) in the army in like 20-25 years.. Likes of Qazi and maulanas will have lot of problems then.. They will argue that how can be a sikh be the army chief of an Islamic country and that raises a valid point as to the status of the minority in the country. It is largely believed that Yousuf Youhana wanted to become cricket and realized he cant do so until he remains a christian.
