Salaam Everyone and Ramadan Mubarak!
I will be hosting my first of Iftars (two consecutive weekends) for friends and family. I barely cook, so I’m quite nervous about how this will go. I’d appreciate everyone’s help with the following:
I’m cooking two saalans (InshAllah), chicken jalfrezi and aloo keema. If I’m cooking each of these for 10, how much meat will I need? Similarly, if I’m cooking these for 20, how much meat will I need? For reference, I’m using these recipes:
-Chicken Jalfrezi (I’ve used to recipe a number of times in the past, and I’m quite comfortable with): BBC Food - Recipes - Chicken jalfrezi
-Aloo Keema (Never tried this particular recipe, but it looks good): Aloo Keema Mutter - Cook With Faiza
Any advice/recommendations would be much appreciated!
