I have seen it on other forums..

the very first post of the topic appears on top of all subsequent pages…so that the main purpose behind the thread is apparent when someone opens the pages..

I hav seen too and its works. No need to go to post S#1 then to post #last to paas ur comments. I think its looks like more user-friendly :)

This is an overall layout issue and technical in nature. Azkar is in charge of that. I will pass your suggestion to him.

MY take is that the current layout gives cleaner look and part of very first post pops up if you hover your mouse on the left side button anyways so do we really need it is up to Azkar to decide.

Not a bad idea.
Specially, since the upgrade, the path of the thread on top left does not have the title of thread as a link anymore to get to first page quickly.
It used to be there before.
