AJ heathrow is not London let alone UK.
I mean at JFK, the idiots wanted to finger print my 9 month old because they thought her name was similar to that of some militant dude, had us wait for 3 hours, treated piss poor by the woman who ws supposed to clear us.
I have been treated better than that in rural south carolina, arkansas, Oklahoma etc as well.

But born and bred Americans don’t have Arabic names. I’m not suggesting someone has to change his name to get a job, but I’m also suggesting someone doesn’t have to change his name to be a Muslim. And if you’ve eaten meatloaf your whole life (assuming it wasn’t made w/ground pork), you don’t have to eat kababs to be a Muslim either.

depends on your defnition of born and bred americans.. My nieces and nephews are born and bred americans, children of born and bred americans, but their names are not Jo Bob or Sandra Dee, or Leroy Jones etc.

I dont think that the name has to be changed for someone to be a convert. two of my first cousins are married to converts, one british and one american who did not change their names, another second/third whatever cousn is married to a french convert who did not change his name either.

at the same time though if someone wants to change his name because he feels like it, there should be no issue with that either.

they ended up not doing so, I was totally pissed off, if your system can tell u that her name somehow is similar to some arab terrorist in his 40’s, cant yoursystem tell u that err she is a 9 months old girl, so the likelihood that she is a trrorist is a little bit on the non existent side..

we dealt with diff ppl, long story, 2 ppl were very good, one in particular was an idiot and kept us there for no reason. I wil write details in my journal in he whole adoption journey series towards the end
