Re: First Impressions: Tarang Houseful Telefilms
Just watched it. can’t get kiya hai jo pyar out of my head now
I thought it was a nice film and the songs were really brill as well
Sarwat looked really pretty. Ahsan was good but I preferred him as the jolly person before he gets married to Beeny lol . Sanam saeed was great too ! However, I feel the ending was a bit abrupt. Could have shown a bit more.
Re: First Impressions: Tarang Houseful Telefilms
"beeny" haha

She was really called Beenish. :D
Re: First Impressions: Tarang Houseful Telefilms
i liked kashaf's negative role :)
Re: First Impressions: Tarang Houseful Telefilms
I have been looking forward to this telefilm apart from Armaan and my expectations were high because of the cast and the director.the first 30 minutes were a disappointment with so many things happening in fast forward, okay first things first…the movie starts and we know at the beginning beenish (sanam saeed) don’t like saira (sarwat gillani)…oh but, she likes saad (Ahsan Khan)…but again saad likes saira…another love triangle.
Both saira and beenish are doctors doing their housejob, saad comes to pick saira from hospital on his motorbike and off they go chirping and singing on a deserted road with saad swinging on his bike from left to right, they had the entire road to themselves.
scene changes…and we see an angry DAD (saira’s father) along with saira and her mother on a dinning table…scene change…beenish intentionally left the hot iron on her dad’s shirt..of course,it burnt…scene change…beenish on phone talking about some beach party…saad reaching the party spot with a rose clenched in his teeth, beenish snatched it,saad runs after her to get it back…saira arrives…and there goes the song Kiya hy jo pyar to pary ga nibhana.Song was good and i loved it but, either there was plenty of sunlight or the extra camera light i don’t know what was it that caused the blinding scenes. The blinding light was irritating to the eyes.
Saira tells saad to marry beenish because there was no way her Dad would agree…from here the story gained momentum in a typical filmi style…saad is at sairas Dad’s office trying to compose himself before he meets him, gets the job…accept the challenge…Dad impressed so he invited him over to dinner…saad is at saira’s house when an envious beenish e-mailed a lovely pic of saad and saira to bahadur sahab (saira’s father)…saad shocked, beenish rocked:hehe:…bahadur sahab makes saira promise she will never meet saad again…saira tells saad their relationship has ended…saad in frustration
…marries beenish…not happy with his decision…meets an accident (coincidence a brick was there to knock out his memory)…landed in hospital…saira treats him and help him recover…ignorant beenish…saira telling her mother about saad’s recovery, hang on where is bahadur sahab?
Oh ,there he is sitting on the side table in a beautiful frame
which means he is dead…
Saad and beenish trying hard luck to save their marriage…unlucky beenish leaves saad telling him to go back to saira…saira leaving for abbotabad…saad calling saira…call disconnected , oh come on pick up the phone:(…calls her mother instead who tells an anxious saad that saira has left for airport…Our hero riding a bike on a jam-packed road heading towards the airport…found himself in the midst of an ongoing wedding commercial? maybe (day weddings in karachi seriously?)…waiting in the traffic…suddenly looks on his left…wow saira is there in her car…grabs her…some confessions (with backgroung bhangra beat)…and finally saira left with saad on his bike…THE END..

Re: First Impressions: Tarang Houseful Telefilms
to be honest it was very average and after the scene between Beenish and Sara, I thought there going to be a cat fight. I went in kitchen to find kurkure
Then came scene between saad and Beenish, where she allowed her to go to Sara. I thought, ab koi drama hoga.. but when sara saad ke sath motor pe gai and the end hogaya I looked towards my sis asking khatam hogai? ![]()
:D so far i liked abhe to me jawan hoon, brilliant acting, direction was good. This one was average.
Re: First Impressions: Tarang Houseful Telefilms
Dil Mera dharkan Teri was terrible . The script was awful with all the scenes being very choppy and lame. I wasn't expecting any better from anjuman but was completely blown away!! Wow wow wow. The script was crisp( who was the playwright?) and the performances very memorable. I am sooo glad they changed the ending. At least some positive message was given. How gorgeous did Ms Loren look?

Anjuman was scripted by Zanjabeel Asim ( Zeenat bint e Sakina Hazir ho and Saat Pardon main fame)
Re: First Impressions: Tarang Houseful Telefilms
Head script of anjuman was Noor-ul-huda shah.
what else can we expect from Mohammad Ahmed who ruined Tanhayian naye silsilay as well.

Just remember this about Noor ul Huda Shah. She wrote quite bold lines in her early stories in Sindhi. We were allowed to read Manto, but not Noor ul Huda Shah till we reached college. :) Anjuman dealing with prostitutes had some good dialogues.

I didn't watch Anjuman because of this topic, i thought Noor-ul-huda shah was a man until i saw her in HUM tv awards recently :)
Her stories were in school books?
Re: First Impressions: Tarang Houseful Telefilms
Her stories can never get place in school syllabus.. How can a line like ’ wo mard hi kiya jis ki nazar aurat dekh kar be-wazoo na hojae’ be included in school syllabus.
She is from a reputed family. Former Minister Naveed Qamar and famous cardiologist Dr Nadeem Qamar are her cousins and she had to face opposition from her family when she started writing
