I have found in the past, my good impression of someone may have become negative after I got to know them and their bad actions spoke for themselves and I can only remember one time that my bad impression of someone changed to a positive experience with them after I got to know them better.

Do you trust your instincts when it comes to forming a quick opinion of someone the first time you meet?

absolutely i agree to it…first impression is not at all the last impression…for many people as i got to know better,i found they were not what i perceived them to be..and recently there was that one lady that i didn’t like at ll.but when i had to meet her for many days in different parties,now i know here better and i started to like her company…

If these forums are representative of encounters with strangers, 90% of the time the first impression is spot on. By first - first 50 posts.

So many things change after you get to know them. Especially when they open their mouths.
