They will be canceled within a week… Americans cant see Desis as anything other then gas station attendents and quickie mart clerks..

Hardly true - Americans (unlike Desis) dont care what job we are doing. Unlike desis they dont think working at a Gas Station is a bad thing.
Anyways that serial is not made for English speaking Americans, It is being made for people of South Asian origin who can understand Hindi.

By the way, I doubt you have been raised in America, otherwise you would know they are just like Desis deep down. The only difference is that they dont openly express their prejudice (unless you go in the south). Perhaps you are thinking of the more educatd open minded American, but they are outnumbered by the millions of Paindus just like anyone out of desiville...
Here is the basic American Stereotype of Desis..
1. Work in Gas station
2. Work as Taxi Drivers
3. Work at 7 eleven
3. All sound like Gandhi
Desis (among other immigrants), do all the jobs Americans dont want to.

Very true, nobody watches desis dramas in India why would americans watch dark brown skinned people with weird clothes.
