Doctors from the Texas Heart Institute have successfully replaced a patient’s heart with a device that keeps the blood flowing, thereby allowing him to live without a detectable heartbeat or even a pulse.
The turbine-like device, that are simple whirling rotors, developed by the doctors does not beat like a heart, rather provides a ‘continuous flow’ like a garden hose.Craig Lewis was a 55-year-old, dying from amyloidosis, which causes a buildup of abnormal proteins. The proteins clog the organs so much that they stop working, according to NPR.
But after the operation, with the ‘machine’ as his heart’s replacement, Lewis’ blood continued to spin and move through his body. However, when doctors put a stethoscope to his chest, no heartbeat or pulse can be heard (only a ‘humming’ sound)—which “by all criteria that we conventionally use to analyze patients”, Doctor Cohn said, he is dead.
This is proof that “human physiology can be supported without a pulse”.
Drs Billy Cohn, left, and Bud Frazier, right, invented the ‘continuous flow’ device and successfully installed it in Mr Lewis.
I'd say it didn't!! what if it was somehow badly effecting other organs inside. It seemed to be working fine itself but resulted in damaging the body inside.
These People who just can't have a faith in one Allah tries to invent/ discover or explore such things so that they have a point to say........ "besides being mentioned in Quran, it has scientifically proved"!! Why on earth we need things to be scientifically proved when are proved already in The Holy Book of Allah.
BUT, the tiny brains they use are even the Allah's Creation. This they forget every time.
In last, I would just say, "Fabi Aiyye Aala i Rabb-e-Kum-a- Tukazzebaan" "Aur tum apnay parwardigaar ki kaun kaun si naymaton ko jhutlaao ge".
Queen not to turn this into a religious discussion but its Allah's marzi that these two men have the brains to try this organ out. Its Allah marzi that this man get a transplant and its also Allah's marzi that he died 5 weeks later.
Allah ki marzi key beyghair tho eik patha bhi nahee hil saktha - organ bana'na tho door ki baath.
I think this is just a cure to a medical condition like Ibprofen is for aches.
Nothing unholy about it.

Nah Muniya, I just tried to share what "I" felt, as just you did.
Peace :)

The original article explained that all of his organs were dying due to abnormal protein build up. The heart was failing first, and the replacement kept him alive until the rest of the organs failures became too severe.
