My friends are so used to calling me on the weekend. So, the phone was ringing off the hook for better part of the evening. Thanks to Caller ID, I only answered the important ones.
Well, it rang again at 9:55 PM. She asked if i don’t answer. I answered anyway. After spending about 5 minutes over the phone, I turned my attention to her and she gave me the look as if why don’t I just stay on the phone and don’t bother her.
The Macho man inside me was telling me to ignore everything and act normal. The ‘newly wed under the thumb’ made me do what I did.
It left me wondeing though…what is so special in you women that makes men act all lovey dovey?
FG how would u have felt if her phone had been ringing off the hook all day on a weekend and she had answered some of those calls and then spent time speaking to a friend at 10:00pm?
LK I think he means having to put up with her anger and not speaking up.
