Yours thoughts please!

Re: First birthday party menu help

Is it tea party?

Re: First birthday party menu help

If birthday is at 4pm then dont add biryani…

serve tea with this menu…add cookies maybe?

Re: First birthday party menu help

Thats what im contemplating keepIng it as a tea party or moving it an hour forward or so and adding the biryaani too.

I will also have the usual crisps, chocs and sweets too

Re: First birthday party menu help

If you add sandwiches that would be great. Simple chicken cheese or tuna cheese sandwiches. Sandwiches can be of many types but these are easy n believe me they are most well received.

Re: First birthday party menu help

Your menu is just fine. I don’t think you need to add anything.
You’re pregnant and parties can be hectic, so just set the event for tea time.

Re: First birthday party menu help

I would even take out the kebabs and add various dips (couple kinds of humus, some sort of ranch or vegetable dip) with finger vegetables (celery, carrots, broccoli, cucumber, mashrooms, tomatoes) and couple different kinds of crackers. You have chicken roast and meat samosas, so two meat things are good.

You are pregnant and have a one year old to take care of, so do not over do, keep it simple and have fun.

Re: First birthday party menu help

Add haleem! You can make it a day before and just add condiments. It’s a filling dish as a snack

Re: First birthday party menu help

I’m also hosting tea party instead of dinner for my baby’s first birthday next week IA!

and menu is almost same as yours mizz khan…
chicken samosas with chutney
sandwiches…
channa chaat…
fruit salad…
tandoori chicken pieces…
and birthday cake
