I am expecting my first baby in just a few more months. We don’t know the sex of the baby but want to start getting the baby’s room ready. Any good neutral colors that you would suggest besides the usual pink and blue? Thank you.

We didnt know the sex of the baby either. So when setting up the nursery we thought of a few different ideas. I really like the colours lime green or orange (only on one wall though), but my husband didnt want to commit to such bright colours. We also live in a rental apartment right now, so painting would have been a hassle because we would have to paint it white before we move out. So we bought polka dot wall decals in different colours from Amazon. The package we got had blue (light and dark), pink (light and dark), green, yellow, brown. And they come in all different sizes and you can decorate exactly how you want. I think it looks great, and when we are moving, we can just remove the stickers without ruining the paint on the wall. You can also choose from any other colour.
There are also lots of nursery wall decal ideas. But my favourite colours to go neutral are orange, green, yellow and taupe. I love those little owls that are really in these days, and they come in lots of different colours.

I went for grey and white with the idea of adding ether turqoise or coral accents afterwards depending on babys gender (didn’t know gender of baby beforehand)

I love navy blue as a neutral.
Accents can be added once you know the gender.
yellow, red, pink, teal, green- everything looks good with navy!

Love grey and navy blue!! Tiffany blue, teal or anything coral, yellow paired with white would be a good start!!! Amazon has plenty of decals that are gender neutral or just a pattern like chevron print or a Moroccan graphic pattern can be stenciled for a nice pop of color and some art to make the room look pretty!!

large scale art looks amazing in any room and its as easy as putting it up and taking it down!
