see some people get degrees and masters and doctorates and research so much that they start thinking they know it all or they understand every thing and because they spend so much time studying other subjects they know only basics about religion and they never like the idea of going to maulana who may not be able to speak English with brit accent, Aa bit dehati type mulla telling them different hadiths they never heard of or telling them off coz they are far from religion or never knew faraiz of GHUSUL ..
so they setisfy them selves by saying every one in the world is bi est and all the people who wrote hadits were humans and can either be bi est or capable to make mistakes .
i agree people can make mistakes but when these great scholars verified again and again the authenticty of hadiths, where they prayed and rayed for guidance how can that be wrong?
if we do not follow these hadith then how else will we know the intricacies of the religion, the Sunnah we have been following for 1400 years
i agree thee are unfortunately aalims/maulana's who are highly biased but then there are those that can understand and explain more than theiir own school of thought.
the "educated" you refer to don't want to be told they have followed only Duniya and not balanced their Deen alongside Dunya. this is their guilt
1) What do they read in their Namaz? what are sources of their information in this bid?
2) What are timings of their Namaz and how do they prefer to call people for joint prayer ( namaz-e-Ba'jamat) i.e. Muslims have Azaan, Christians have bells!!! Now if Azan is adopted by pervaizies, then how did they reach to this decision
3) If they read translation and tafseer of Quran, who has done the translation and who's tafseer they read?
4) What is the status of Ghulam Ahmed Pervaiz? How do pervaizies see him? how do they weigh his writings and sayings etc?
5) Who was the teacher of Ghulam Ahmed Pervaiz? How did Ghulam Ahmed Pervaiz has spent his life?
These are few to ask, please have them answer these
