It’s a purely English word, don’t know if there’s an Urdu word for this. Languages have been using words from other languages since beginning of time. Most of this ammunition was invented during the last few centuries, hence we are using the words used by the west to describe them. At the moment we are in the midst of a globalised world, and the language which is affecting all languages is English.

We can see some words like bazaar which have made their way into English, reminding us of the time when Arabic used to be the most powerful language of the world.

Urdu is a mixture of many languages ..
even if it(firing) is English it'll still considered to be 'Urdu' as well

Golabari is bar-tarkeeb e Barfbari aur Yalabari.
note, all three words i mentioned have same context that is something fall onto from up above...

daaghna is also a word for firing (verb). for gerund (firing) there seems no Urdu equivalent or its one of the words that has become extinct.
