I need a new firewall, preferably something that is free. 
Where can I find a good one? Right now, I have EZ-Trust Anti-Virus, but it is expiring in a few weeks so I need a new one ASAP.

try trendo PC-Cillin internet security 2005, and if u r after sumthin free like most desis' then ZoneAlarm as Ehsan said.

Firewall and AntiVirus (AV) are totally different things.
Get AVG AVG from www.grisoft.com

I’m trying to install Zone Alarm and it says it can’t install cause I have True Vector on and it needs to be turned off. 
What and how?

Start windows in safe mode. Open the internet logs folder c:\windows\internet logs or c:\winnt\internet logs. Delete all files that have the extension .rdb, .ldb, or TMP. Empty ur recycle bin, reboot ur system and install this crap :D zone alarm.

What's wrong with the Windows firewall? Its free and u can pretty much block most traffic.
If u do want another one get a commercial one, PM me for the goodies ;)

Windows Firewall sucks. 
Other firewalls come with more options and provide better security via updates.

Zone alarm is the best so far. Psygate is good but take a lot of resources of machine, unless u have a good hardware I'd suggest Zone alarm.

Zone Alarm refuses to load onto my computer cause of the "True Vector", which it says I need to turn off. I have no idea what this is or how to turn it off.
I ended up installing Sygate instead.

True Vector is a part of Zone Alarm, it means that someone might have installed Zone alarm in the past & didn't un-install it properly. You need to Open the task manager & kill the true vector process.
print the process list here & one of us might be able to pin point what process u need to kill to install Zone Alarm.

I somehow managed to successfully download Zone Alarm. Now, I have two firewalls on my computer, both Zone Alarm and Sygate. Do I really need both?

You sure about that? ZA didnt complain about having a second firewall insalled? Usually it does. I suggest you keep one cos sooner or later, they are going to clash and cause conflict of intersts :>
