Firefox extension...

This extension has the phenomenol ability to be able to get searches from the internet regarding any one word, its meaning, its synonyms, its placement and its history, all at a click of a mouse. Depending upon the site you choose to specify.

For my right click search options, I have set as:

  1. www.dictionary.com *
(This site is self explanatory by the URL. It is an online dictionary and a very comprehensive one at that.)*

  2. www.thesaurus .com
(Also quite self-explanatory by the URL. Idioms, synonyms, antonyms, history, are all yours at a command.)

  3. www.tfd.com
(An online encyclopedia with which at the click of your right mouse button you can trace three different histories and linealogies of the word &%^$.)
P.S. And its vocal pronunciation as well…:aha:

  4. www.wikipedia.com
(A constantly updated knowledgebase of the latest additions that pours into the mainstream lingo, continously kept watch over by the most unbiased and literate ‘volunteers’ on the net. They consist of professors, craftsman, teachers e.t.c.. A good addition.)

For the avid writer, this extension is an indispensible tool of monumental proportions. Never again scratch your head, wondering about the vague word that somehow you read yet didn’t know the meaning of. The specification that you need to feed into your search fields for the different tools, it doesn’t require you taking a class in VB or C++. Just follow the examples in the very first fields.

If you liked what I had as my search engines, I’ll be kind enough to post them here…Just copy and paste them in the corresponding slots and your life will be happier and easier…
