So a couple of months back firefox was working just fine on my laptop but then i had to update the adobe flash player that’s when problem #1](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=1) started, it started crashing occasionally. Then a couple of weeks ago i updated flash player again to the latest version 18.0.2 something anyhow that’s when problem 2 started, fb videos are playing minus the visuals i.e. black screen with just the audio playing and yeah it started crashing more frequently, so much so that some times it crashes like 5-6 times in a row and then behaves normally for few hours then again the same problem.
So i tried fixing it after googling for the solution. So far i’ve deleted and reinstalled it twice, no change with the exception of that when i open the plugin window it shows a warning that latest version of flash plugin is vulnerable, use with caution and its disabled, can’t get it to activate anymore. Then i’ve tried opening ff in safe mode, it seems to work just fine, videos are playing, no crashing, so i deactivated all the plugins and addons to see whats causing the problem, but the problem still persists. I’ve scanned for viruses, no viruses. I’ve also refreshed it several times to default settings, no luck.
Btw i managed to backup my bookmarks and i’ve imported them to chrome, just in case i lose my patience and delete ff permanently. But i really liked it before this problem started and i want to continue using it. Solutions anyone? any help would be really appreciated. And which one do you prefer ff or chrome.
