This really is very sad news.

I have so many fond memories of spending time at Radio Pakistan studios in Karachi with my uncle, watching various artists including Mehdi Hassan, Noor Jahan and other’s recording their songs.

My particular fond memory is of the late Muni Baji taking me to the famous Radio Pakistan canteen and buying me that unforgatable keema pastries.

aalsi i was sad and shocked to see the news last night about them burning down. i also visited radio pakistan studios once when i was really young:)

I don't believe there have been any reports of casualtiies?, so inshallah everyone is fine.

Not that I care about the studio, but any suspicion of arson?
