In Pakistan , Ramadan starts a day later then Saudi. By that rule, the odd nights in the last ten days come in direct conflict. What is a taak raat in saudi will be an even numbered night in Pakistan ..
Now I believe that layla tul qader could be any night in the last ten nights but it can specially be found in the odd nights , right? so does that mean there isnt one blessed night for the entire world? or are different areas blessed at different times?
See my confusion? please help me understand this concept..
The confusion comes from dating not the day and night phenomenon. You see in the international dating and timing system a new day is calculated at the same point on the map for every day every month. Islamic months are different. The new month governs the day number ... And the new month in strict terms will be counted on the first (international date) for some countries that lie on the early part of the visibility curve and on the second date for those countries that didn't. To us it appears that the two dates are different, but Islamically they are the same day ... The international date line in other words the first country that experiences the new date is always Australia. However, Islamically the new month may start on one month in South Africa, so everything East of that would have to wait most of the day to get started. At other times Argentina starts the month, at other times India or even Australia ... For this reason when all countries eventually get their night or day they will cross the international date line and appear to be on different days ... Now a night may last 8 hours for a city in the Middle-East ... But that does not mean the night is only 8 hours long ... No ... That night moves westwards across the globe ... And it takes a whole 24 hours for the same night to be experienced in all places around the earth ... I hope that makes sense.
