What do you do when you find hair in your food? Whether its in a restaurant or home cooking? Do you take out the hair and eat the rest, give it to someone else, or throw it away? Ever found anything really gross in your food?
I once ordered some nihari from a restaurant and when I brought it home there was a giant cockroach in it. Never went there again. eek
The amount of times I have found hair in food is just…ewww. Gross! shudder

I heard that about Taco Bell a few years ago..that cockroach eggs had been found in their food…i never went to taco bell again
personally I’ve never found hair in ne of my food(thankfully) but if I did I would definately send it back and probably leave a poor tip
If I find a hair in my food...forget it..I won't touch it again!!!! It's just too gross.
And just to make sure that my hair doesn't fall into the food that I'm making..I wear a shower cap on my head and I either shake off my clothing or wear a "cooking shirt" on top :)

Hinna, if I had a dollar for everytime I have found hair in my food, I think I would be a millionaire by now. I dont know if its because I carefully inspect my food when eating, or just some weird thing where I seem to get it in my food more often than I'd anticipate. It's GROSS!
It depends - who's hair is it? If it's something I cooked (which would mean, boiled water or instant noodles), or even my Mom (it's really never happened at home), as gross as it may seem to some of you, I would just remove the hair and eat the rest of the food. If I were out, no, I wouldn't eat the rest of it.
And - cockroaches - really?

yeah had a hair in like my salad and they gave us like a day old soup or alteast thats wat it seemed like..didnt go there again and i stop anyone i can from going there..so yeah if u r ever in Michigan, NEVER EVER EVER go to ceaderland!!!

Someone once told me that someone they knew found a roach in their Taco at Taco Bell.
I’ve known different chefs at fastfood restaurants, and they have told me in the strictest of confidence to never buy food when the manager is not on duty. That I’d be disgusted to know what goes on behind the counter when the manager isnt there. eek
