Finding family in Pakistan

In the US, you can do searches for families using some agency that will help you. What is the case in Pakistan?

I want to find out about my cousins in north pakistan. I dont know the first thing to do to look for them. Unfortunately my nana’s side of the family doesnt know much about their whereabouts either.

What can a person do to find long lost family in Pakistan, if they cant use the help of their already existing known relatives there? Any ideas? Thanks.

^Ask some local citizens' registrar or advertise in media.

Yes, in fact there are several organistains who can help you find your lost family, not only in Pakistan but also outside of Pakistan (like in India maybe)

One is Sattar Edhi foundation..
The other one is Ansar Burni Welfare Trust.. This should definately be able to help you find you lost family members..

which area in Pak munni..any specifics?

the only place that has got the real records of people living in that area is union council ofice, but then you can only find this if you know the place where abouts.

Munni are these long lost ppl, as in partition times or just family members you have lost touch with over the years?

Munni, you can always choose to consider me your cousin (door paar ka, however) and find out more about me.
