How important is it to find a mentor in your chosen line of work? you reckon one is better off without them or can they play an important role in your development and early career life struggles?

I think it is important to find the right mentor. A person who shows you what to do it not a mentor. A person who shows you how to react and think and behave in different situations that work life throws at you is a true mentor.

Yes , you are right , finding the way to do something is our responsibility and shows our motivation and will to achieve something. A mentor can help us react/ understand better when we are facing certain situations …
Question is , in today’s busy times , its so hard to get people to dedicate any time to help … so how do we go about looking for opportunities of finding the perfect mentor for us?
