There was a video game I used to play in 90s (most probably between 1995 and 1998) in which a gunner kills aliens, he continuously moves from left to right in screen, screen color is green. The game is simple like Mario. Name as far as I remember starts from alphabet “G”. I searched genocide and genesis on net but couldn’t find. The background music is super and similar to that of “koi kahe kahta rahe” song of Dil Chahta Hai movie. Thnx

What platform did you play it on? PC? Or SNES/Megadrive/Genesis? Is there anything else you can remember about it?

I don't remember. My elder brother is saying that it was a PC game we used to play it in 2002-03. He is not certain about name.

I think it's called "alien storm" but I might be wrong..

Green background, shooting, and platforming…it reminds me of this, but the timelines you’re mentioning don’t match, neither does the platform:

Berry: I watched vid, it does not look like that.
Captain: Thats not the one. I recall, there was another game we played those days named "wolf". I am confused with timeline, my brother says 2002-03 and game could be contemporary or old one.

Contra, Super Contra, and AirWolf.

I know contra and super contra..what was AirWolf. Wolf was an exciting game of those days, in which we had to kill security men and their german shepherd dogs in a jail lol.

The gunner on green platform was Contra, I guess. Prison game, I've never played.
