financial management software for macs

Any recommendations? I was reading up on quicken for mac and it seems like most people find it lacking..

I was thinking to just buy the ones for palm like their pocket quicken or splash wallet but I don’t know if they would actually run on the mac or if they’re any better that the quicken for mac…

Have u seen this application called MoneyDance? Its available in most OS formats. Check it out. I’ve heard that its sorta like the MS Money interface:

I'm wondering though.. If I bought pocket quicken or splash wallet for my palm would it work with my mac and just use that instead of buying something just for the mac itself? (though I dunno the review of the pocket quicken and the splash wallet yet)

I'm just thinking that would be hitting two birds with one stone... I just dunno if that works though...

Anyone tried it?

I have yet to see any software (financial) that does that, giving u PC and PDA software. Most PDA ones are compatible with one app or the other. I have used one which worked with Microsoft Money (on PPC) but I took it off quickly as I'm not a fan of carrying financial data around on my phone.
