So if India wins the match against Sri Lanka, Pakistan automatically is out of the tournament finals.
If India loses then Pakistan is in the finals.
All Pakistan can do is watch the match and pray.

I am sick and tired of bitching and moaning of pak fans. We have no one to blame but ourselves. The point system didn't score 122 against SL. Point system didn't hold us back from getting india out under 240. Point system didn't make moin miss two easy stumping.
^^ I agree... its not like the rules ONLy apply to Pakistan... they applied to everyone, all teams knew about it... and regardless, everyone had to try their best... I infact like the rules from a longer term strategic standpoint where teams don't just think about winning "this" particular match but devise a game plan for the tournament as a whole...
that being said, I seriously hope Pak is in the final and they win the tournament (just learn a lesson guys - just learn!).
The rules apply equally to everyone. The only thing I will say is that it is pretty weird to give a team 1 point for losing by 60 runs? 
Nah..it was given for not giving another team a bonus point.. Weird but true !!!
I remember this same bonus point system was given a lot of flak when Australia failed to qualify in VB series final some two-three years back. Australia needed to win with a bonus point against SA and scored 287. SA needed 227 to deny Australia a bonut point and reach finals and they NEVER went for 287. They ended up scoring 250, Australia was out and Steve Waugh's one day career was halted to an end.
Point is that this Bonus point system can seriuosly hurt an exciting tournmaent and still for some reason it is around.
