Dear All,
In the way to plan the event and rasm detailing, I am stuck on one point and thought to seek your advices in the regard.
On the big day, before i actually arrive to stage, I am aiming for a session of close family figures to participate in giving me the final touches before i go on the stage. (This part can be done at home, after i return back from parlor). So now since they cannot ACTUALLY work on anything in bride preparation, as i would be all ready, i just want that they add up little things, as for the sake of giving hand at final touch.
I have 4 couples ( uncle aunts) and two phopos that i want to participate at it. For the two phopos i have thought that they can make me wear the wrist gajras (flower bangles) on each hand. Now for the four couples what do you guys suggest?
The very few options i have are below:
- Bazuband (I am not sure if its in any fashion still)
- The kara (hmm just an option..)
What else :s
Things that i am not considering as options:
- Jewellery (I cant wear them as the last thing for final touch up, as i would have worn at parlor only)
- Nath (Cant take risk of having it worn from any other person’s hand :s, its sensitive u knw :s )
- Makeup (No way!!!)
So yes I actually have veryyyyyy few options to date.. Help me add in to my list please???

***What about putting on a ghoongat? It can be done by the last couple or by all the ladies present by holding on to the corners.

Thanks for replying ShehnaiHeels
Actually i will be doing Goongat thing on nikah day, and for rukhsati day i wont be in goongat actually as it will be the final show of rukhsati day
Also the idea for couple doing is that i can have the photo session also with my all aunts and uncles at this moment couple wise, where aunties help in final touch ups and uncles give prayers.. the traditional way

***These ideas of yours are pretty good. I like the:
- gajras
- Bazuband. I won't ever go out of fashion but most briides have a bazuband or two made with the bridal lehnga and wear matching ones at wedding. If you don't, then a jewelled bazuband is a pretty good idea.
- kara (that is if you aren't already wearing one)
How about incorporating the age old Western rhyme in the final touch ups? It lists the collection of items that is considered lucky for a bride to take to her wedding. You can ask each couple to bring over something from the list and take pics while they are being put on. The rhyme goes:
Something old, something new,
Something borrowed, something blue,
And a silver sixpence in her shoe.
