As you might have heard, there has been some controversy over the fact that the main cast of the game is made up of all men. What’s your opinion on it?
As for myself, I never made an issue of it and would not have known that there was any controversy about it had I not read about it on game news sites. They’ve had an all female cast in Final Fantasy X-2, and that didn’t particularly bother me either.
I’m still looking forward to this game and had even considered buying a PS3 to play it on when it was supposed to be exclusive to the console.
I have never played FF. However, I always found it to be interesting from the gameplay clips, and art work.
I've liked the genre since I began gaming due to the party mechanic, and the strategy involved with the turn based battles, leveraging the abilities/strengths of different characters/classes etc. This one has caused some controversy due to the party (or at least main party) being all males. Though they did something similar in FFX-2, where the party consisted of all female characters. I didn't find it to be that big a deal in either case.
